The MK18 AR15 style firearm is unmatched in size, weight and performance, and features the picatinny quadrirail that Daniel Defense supplies to USSOCOM. The quad rail, the RIS II picatinny features a Bolt-Up system that was rigorously tested before it was put into service by USSOCOM. The 10.3 inch cold hammer forged barrel is the same length used for the MK18 rod most commonly used for CQB operations. The independent ambi GRIP-N-RIP charging handle accommodates both left-handed and right-handed shooters. This rifle also comes with the Daniel Ergonomic Defense Stock and Pistol Grip

An AR15 in compact format!

  • Lower: Mil-Spec with improved flared magazine well and rear receiver QD swivel attachment point. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hardcoat anodized
  • Upper: Mil-Spec with index marks and M4 feed ramps. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, Type III hardcoat anodized
  • Barrel: Cold forged and chrome plated steel, 10.3" (26.16 cm) long, 1:7" rifling pitch, coated with Mil-Spec heavy phosphate and HP/MPI tested
  • Gas Borrow: CNC machined pinned low profile gas block from hardened 4140 steel and Mil-spec heavy phosphate coating, carbine length, direct impingement
  • Muzzle Device: Daniel Defense 17-4 PH Stainless Steel Muzzle Brake
  • Housing profile: Type M16, Mp tested, lined with chrome
  • Handguard: Daniel Defense MK18 R III, (M-lok) CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum (very strong and durable alloy, with excellent corrosion resistance), hard layer type III anodized.
  • Cocking lever: Grip-N-Rip, body CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum (very strong alloy, widely used in aeronautics and weapons), handles and latch CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum
  • Stock: Daniel Defense Buttstock, glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding
  • Pistol grip: Daniel Defense polymer with overmolding identical to the stock
  • Made in the USA
